How a business gets on the site
Details can change since the information was checked on 12 August 2026. Before a business appears on a county or service page, we check its location, connection to car washing or detailing and the useful details we can show.

| Where it is located | Republic of Ireland businesses are included. Northern Ireland businesses are included for the six counties in scope. Businesses outside the island of Ireland are left out. |
| What service it offers | The information must clearly point to car washing, valeting or detailing. Unclear entries are held back until they can be checked. |
| How places are named | County and area names are checked so the same place has one clear name on the site. |
| What appears publicly | Only businesses that pass these checks appear on county and service pages. |
How the default order works
Cards with more useful details—such as hours, contact information, services, payment options and access information—appear first. This order helps you compare information; it is not a judgement about service quality.
You can switch to “Most reviewed”, “Highest rated” or A–Z. “Highest rated” starts with options that have at least 10 Google reviews, while every other option remains available below. The order is not an editorial recommendation.
Service and opening-hour pages
The 24-hour, hand car wash, detailing and Sunday pages use clear checks. Missing information is never treated as proof. A business appears on the 24-hour page only when every day says “Open 24 hours”.
Hand washing and detailing must be named as a service or category. A business name on its own is not enough.
Corrections
Business information changes. If the public correction channel is available, use the correction page and include the business name, address, county and the field that needs attention. You should also check directly with the business before travelling.
